Frequently asked questions
-
For most commercial premises a fixed-wire (EICR) inspection is recommended every five years, and often sooner for higher-risk environments. We assess your building and tell you the right interval - then track it for you.
-
PAT testing checks that portable, plug-in appliances are safe to use. There is no fixed legal interval, but you do have a duty to keep equipment safe, and insurers and landlords frequently ask for it. We test everything that plugs in and label it clearly.
-
Yes. If an inspection flags a fault we can quote and carry out the remedial work, then update your certificate so your records stay complete.
-
Both. Many clients fold electrical testing into a maintenance plan so it is scheduled and reminded automatically, but we are happy to carry out one-off inspections too.
